Alpine Resorts apartments have become synonymous with cosy, convivial time spent in the mountains with friends and family. Each apartment in each residence is unique, featuring well-planned, contemporary fixtures and furnishings to enhance your holiday. But this is not an accident, nor is it coincidence. In fact, every corner of every apartment in our collection has been carefully considered by our experienced team of interior designers, who’s role it is to identify new trends and themes from the world of interior design. Here, they share some of their favourite new products - you might find a few of them in your holiday apartment this summer!
“The mountain landscape outside is usually sublime and often dramatic and we think it’s interesting to contrast this with curved, soft and rounded shapes in furniture,” interior designer Cécile Bertrand explains. These two examples - the Boomerang and the Roller - from long-established furniture house Ethnicraft pay tribute to nature with their curved, fluid, organic lines that in many ways have a synergy with the surrounding landscape. The Boomerang table is made from dark brown mahogany and exudes a warmth and sophistication that is perfect for our properties, while the Roller table provides multifunctional storage space alongside an easily portable coffee table.

2 - The Baobab Armchair
“Perfect for enjoying a slower pace of life after a day in the mountains, this beautiful, cocooning chair evokes a warmth and opulence that we love,” continues Cécile. Made by French brand Collinet, the Baobab is made to be hard wearing and tough yet at the same time tactile and welcoming. Typically placed near the fireplace of our apartments to encourage you to rest alongside the crackle of the fire, this armchair is a welcome addition to our new interiors programme at the moment.

3 - Fabrics for Fun
“It’s true that often fabrics in interior design are functional and necessary. Curtains, cushions and bed linens for example, should also be used to add fun and whimsical moments to interior design” Cécile tells us. You’ll now discover the Alpine Resorts take on ‘retro chic’ in many of our design schemes, where our team use the comfort of chunky knits or modern takes on authentic patterns to add charm and revive memories. Maison Denantes have clearly identified this trend too, creating a collection of warm, tonal decorative fabrics that are easy to add to your home. Meanwhile, at Christian Fischbacher, window fabrics are romantic and playful, adding new textures to a space. Our team especially love the Ortisei weave curtain as the wool blends to create a bouclé effect that enhances windows in every season.

4 - A SMEG Trio
“Where function meets fun in the kitchen! SMEG products always bring a space to life and their classic 1950’s shape is appreciated by our guests who like a leisurely breakfast during their holiday,” Cécile believes. Many of our Alpine Resorts apartments are equipped with an iconic SMEG toaster, kettle and citrus juicer to help you start the day in the right way. Integrating top quality equipment and appliances throughout our apartments is always a priority for our design team, but it helps when they look beautiful too!
